Welcome to week 2 of Mommy Blog Tips! As a new blogger over 2 years ago, one of the first things that I did was research. I spent hours and hours online looking into all the different aspects of “Mommy Blogging”. So, today I thought I would share some of the resources that I found helpful when I first started out. Whether you are blogging just for fun or to make some profit, here are some sites that I found very helpful along the way!
1. Pro Blogger – This site www.problogger.com has a lot of helpful information and I find myself going back time and time again. He also has an e-book with tips on how to build a better blog. I haven’t got this one yet but I am very tempted to do so.
2. Blogging All-in-One For Dummies – Yes, I have number of thick “black and yellow” books and Blogging for Dummies is one of them. This was a great resource to have handy as I explored the world of Blogging. It continues to be a great resource as I have expanded my journey as a “Mommy Blogger.
3. Tax Talk and Tips – This is a rather new resource for me. Since combining Busy Momi Bee with my Blog Design site to start a business, I wanted to make sure that I had a correct understanding of all things dealing with taxes. The e-book really breaks everything down so that it is easy to follow. They covered all things taxes, but also gave some great resources for record keeping. This was totally worth the purchase and can be “written off” as a business expense!
We love resources soo much we have created a Amazon.com Mommy Blog Book Store, which contains many books on Blogging. So, head on over and check it out here: http://www.busymomibee.com/blogging-books/ (Can be found on the navigation bar under resources).
These are just 3 of the numerous resources that I have used as a new blogger and continue to use as someone who has been blogging for more than 2 years. Being that there are tons of resources on the web, Have you ever purchased a Book or E-Book as a Blogging Resource? If so, which ones have you found helpful?
Have a Great Blogging Week!
